Vegan City Guides
A New Series for the Vegan Traveler

Sullivan Street Press’s Vegan City Guides is a continuing series designed specifically for vegans who travel and want to find not just the best places to eat but also what the vegan communities in each city are up to.

Building bridges between the hometowns and the places vegans travel, whether for business or pleasure, is a goal of this series and of many vegans. Knowing what there is to do and to see in each town, whether the traveler has a day or a week or more to explore makes this series of guidebooks uniquely organized for the vegan traveler.

Each book in the Vegan City Guides is available in both print and e-book format providing a handy guide to the city either on a device or to stash in a bag.  Each book too brings you the best of the writing from the vegan community, written with passion and insight into what the town or city has to offer

First up:

Eating Vegan in Vegas

A wonderful group of locals from Las Vegas have contributed to this first volume in the travel series. Dr. Evan Allen of the Dr. Allen Wellness and Medical Center in Las Vegas has not only written about the benefits of going vegan from a clinical as well as a personal perspective, but he also describes the other experiences available to those who travel to Las Vegas, away from the Strip and into the wilds.

Marsala Rypka offers an overview of her life as a vegan and the reasons for it, while also giving insightful perspective on some of the vegan celebrities and entertainers associated with Las Vegas.

Mary Beth Horiai has written two articles on the greening in many ways of Las Vegas that recount the food challenges of living in the desert as well as another chapter on the creative solutions people in Las Vegas have made to wanting to live green and eat vegan.

The most up-to-date guide to eating vegan is included divided into sections of the town.
